A cleaner Deadlock HUD: setup tips
Deadlock's HUD shows a lot at once. A few changes make the fight easier to read: keep what you look at in combat close to the crosshair, and move or hide the rest. Here's a setup to start from, then make it yours.
Keep it near the crosshair
- Health and ammo: what you check most in a fight. Move them closer to the middle so your eyes don't leave the target.
- Ability cooldowns: bottom centre, under the crosshair.
- Everything else (souls, items, the clock) can sit at the edges.
Hide what you don't need right now
With the Arena theme, parts can show only when they matter:
- The top bar only while Tab is held.
- Souls only with the shop open.
- Owned item slots hidden (the souls stay).
On any HUD, the eye in UI Kit's Layers list hides a part completely.
Read fights faster
- Health squares: health bars over heads as squares, one per 100 health, so you can count how many shots someone has left.
- Alerts: RELOAD under the crosshair and a red screen edge at low health.
- Colour Assist: if team colours are hard to tell apart.
Save it, share it, or start from someone else's
- 1 In the UI Kit panel, open Account and sign in with Steam.
- 2 In Layouts, press Save this one.
- 3 Or open Shared layouts on this site and use one of those with one click.
