Privacy

For mods.frogtech.dev, changelog.frogtech.dev, map.frogtech.dev and the mods they serve. Updated 24 October 2026.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages people use. It only sets its cookies (_ga) after you press Accept in the bar at the bottom. Google then gets the pages you open, the page you came from, your device and browser, and a rough location. If you decline, Google gets pings without cookies or an ID, so you can't be followed from page to page. Your answer is kept for a year in a cookie, frog_consent, for all three sites.

Signing in with Steam

Signing in gives us your Steam ID, name and avatar from Steam, and sets a sign-in cookie (uk_session). We keep what you make here: layouts, sync codes, feedback, and changelog notes and votes. To have your account and all of it removed, ask on the feedback page.

The mods in the game

UI Kit loads its settings page from this site, and Steam Profiles & Hours asks this site for players' Deadlock hours. For each of those requests we keep the time, your IP address, the browser's user agent and the mod's version for 14 days, to count how many people use the mods. Nothing else reads them.

Steam Profiles sends the Steam IDs of the players on your screen; we ask Steam for their Deadlock hours and keep the answer in memory for up to 6 hours. UI Kit's settings stay in the game's own browser storage on your PC.

Match alerts and notifications

If you link a phone for match alerts, or turn on update notifications, we keep the push address your browser's push service gives us, so we can send them. It's removed when the push service says it no longer works (for example after you turn notifications off for the site).

Downloads

We count downloads per mod. The count has nothing about who downloaded.

Questions
