What it does

Pick "Install with Frogtech Mod Loader" on any mod here. New versions install by themselves.

Browse GameBanana

Search, top and newest mods, categories by hero, pictures and files. Install straight from the list.

Find similar mods

Click a tag like HUD or a hero's name on any mod to see more mods of that kind.

Mods from other modders

Add a modder's repository and their mods show up in Browse, with updates like ours. Paid mods work with a key.

Survives game updates

A Deadlock update switches every mod off. The loader turns them back on within seconds.

Your own files

Drop in a .zip, .rar, .7z or .vpk from anywhere.

Load order

Drag mods up and down. Higher in the list wins when two change the same file.

Stays out of the way

Starts with Windows, waits in the tray and updates itself.

Always know what changed

Every update check tells you the result, and loader updates show what's new before you install them.

Open source

Built by GitHub from the public code, so anyone can check the download is exactly that code.

Good to know

  • Unzip FrogLoader.exe anywhere except Program Files, then run it.
  • It isn't code-signed yet, so Windows may warn about an unknown app: choose More info, then Run anyway. The download is built by GitHub from the open source code; you can check it with gh attestation verify FrogLoader_v0.7.1.zip --repo fr0gtech/frogtech-mod-loader.
  • Coming from Deadlock Mod Manager? The loader offers to import the mods already in your addons folder.
